The history of Kerala`s hotel management study begins with Consult Inn,  set up in 1988 by Mr. Suresh Babu, postgraduate degree holder from Mumbai Catering College and a predominant personality in the Catering industry. Before coming to education scenario he worked in Taj Mahal Hotel, Bombay.

Over the years, Consult Inn has been playing a crucial, strategic role in the development of manpower which the hotel Industry looks on and attains its own position in this field. Now a days most of the major hotel chains in India, abroad and professional catering establishments looks hopefully to Consult Inn for young, dynamic and suitable personalities for fulfilling the growing demands of hotel, tourism industry.
